Chione was a wind nymph, a daughter of the Anemoi, the Gods of the winds and was immortalised as a Goddess of winter and snow. She is associated with the fierce power of mountain winds. She was strong, beautiful and defiant of the Gods hence earning her deification. This icicle shaped pendant embodies everything Chione represented.
