Phanes
Phanes
In Ancient Greek Mythology, Phanes or Protogonus was a mystical primordial deity of new life, power and thought. Phanes means ‘to bring light’ or ‘to shine’ and is often depicted as emerging from a celestial silver egg with broad golden wings and embraced by a guardian serpent.
This crystal topaz pendant with its angel hair intrusions, supported by a silver chain, embodies the nature of Phanes. Topaz, akin to Phanes is believed to soothe, heal, stimulate, recharge and motivate the wearer especially when worn close to the heart. It aligns the meridians of the body – directing energy to where it is needed most. It promotes truth and forgiveness. It brings joy, generosity, abundance and good health. It is known as a stone of love and good fortune.
